Meatballs with Root beer BBQ Sauce, green beans and potatoes
As the sauce cooked on the stove Alexandro walked by and asked for a taste. He quickly suggested adding our favorite BBQ sauce to it (Head & Country). I decided to add ½ cup and I have to say that it made all the difference. I guess growing up in Brazil does not help one to like root beer. After 20 years in America I am still trying to like this mysterious drink. I also used fresh herbs for the meat balls and it was delicious. The boys (all 3) really enjoyed the meal with the green beans with pineapple vinaigrette and sautéed potatoes.

I remember you saying you have never learned to like rootbeer. This sauce was a little different so it was probably a good idea to add some regular bbq suace to it. Funny that alexandro would suggest that!
Good idea to add the BBQ sauce - where was Alexandro when I was making the meal!:) Your meal looked delicious. I like it when you add a pic of the family eating it.
